We are seeking a strong Assistant Manager to join our team at Uptown Cheapskate Cypress, a fun and dynamic fashion retail environment. We buy, sell, and trade styles from top brands like Abercrombie to luxury names like Gucci and Louis Vuitton, catering primarily to young adults but welcoming everyone.
About the role
As an Assistant Manager, you will lead our buying team, manage staff, and assist with inventory management and organization. This is a hands-on role for a go-getter with a positive attitude and strong work ethic.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate and price inventory using our proprietary software (training provided)
- Manage inventory through regular markdowns and merchandising
- Direct a team of 8-20 people daily
- Assist with running the store with passion and drive
- Work with Store Management to consistently meet goals
- Fill in for staff call-outs as needed
Requirements
- At least 1-3 years of experience in Fashion Retail within the last 4 years
- Open availability on weekends
- Strong work ethic and ability to hit the ground running every day
