Farmworker

Start Date: 09/01/2026   End Date: 03/01/2027   44 hours/week

Responsibilities

• Grow, package, and ship red and gold potatoes
• Operate large farm equipment such as tractors, trucks, skid loaders, and forklifts
• Maintain and repair farm machinery and equipment using a variety of tools
• Clean farm equipment

Requirements

• Three months of farm or potato experience
• Ability to communicate in English
• Valid driver’s license
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs
• Must pass a post-hire drug test; failing the test will result in termination
• Repetitive movements required

Pay

$19.33 per hour. Overtime paid at 1.5× the regular rate for hours worked over 48 in a work week. Performance-based incentive bonuses may be offered at the employer’s discretion.

Schedule

• Monday–Friday: 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. (8 hours/day)
• Saturday: 4 hours/day
• Sunday: 0 hours

• Earned Sick and Safe Time (ESST): 1 hour accrued for every 30 hours worked, up to at least 48 hours per year (MN State Statute)
