Farmfit Field Specialist

About the role

We are currently seeking a highly‑motivated, knowledgeable, and friendly field specialist to join our Farmfit team working with biotechnology in the dairy and beef space. In this full‑time, customer‑facing role, you will travel to customer herds to assist in sales, installation and training of new customers, and to deliver exceptional customer service. You will demonstrate your technical knowledge of our various product options in a friendly and helpful manner, treat potential customers with the utmost respect, and ensure a professional experience to drive success for all customers.

Responsibilities

• Provide site survey and installation of equipment.
• Continuously grow knowledge of ST product lines.
• Travel to customers’ sites for installation, training, and troubleshooting.
• Provide continual customer support.
• Demonstrate product functionality.
• Communicate all technical specifications.
• Work cooperatively with the sales team.
• Remain in compliance with company guidelines at all times.

Qualifications

• College degree in animal science or related field and/or experience and knowledge of the dairy or beef industries.
• Ability to memorize and recall product specifications and demonstrate value proposition.
• Experience working in a farm environment.
• Ability to work cooperatively as part of a team.
• Desire to continue to develop skills and knowledge.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Outstanding interpersonal skills and a positive attitude.
• Command of the English language; bilingual in Spanish desirable.
• Strong work ethic, self‑motivated.
• Demonstrate honesty and integrity at all times.
