About the Role

The Farm Support Coordinator supports the organization’s network of farmers by overseeing farm activities, providing coaching, and ensuring compliance with animal welfare and production standards. This role is critical in enhancing farm productivity, profitability, and adherence to rigorous guidelines, contributing directly to the quality and ethical standards of the company’s products.

Responsibilities

  • Become an expert on organizational standards to maintain animal welfare.
  • Collaborate with farmers to address production and quality issues.
  • Communicate regularly with the Farmer Support team and peers to share best practices.
  • Travel as needed to various farms within the assigned area.
  • Understand farmers’ contexts and challenges to improve outcomes.
  • Provide ongoing support and problem-solving assistance for farmers.
  • Hold farmers accountable to productivity and audit standards.
  • Use performance data to guide best practices in nutrition, sanitation, and pasture management.
  • Generate insights on farm performance and opportunities for improvement.

Requirements

  • Located near Pocahontas, Arkansas, or the surrounding area due to travel needs.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Animal Science, Business, Agriculture Management, or equivalent experience preferred.
  • 1–2 years of experience in animal production preferred.
  • Knowledge of the poultry industry and Certified Humane standards preferred.
  • Ability to analyze data and implement actions.
  • Goal-oriented with a strong work ethic.
  • Ability to travel daily, including overnight travel, to farms and meetings.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Passion for ethically sourced food and purpose-driven work.
  • Team-oriented with strong communication skills.

Pay

Estimated starting annual base salary range: $50,000–$60,000, with hiring typically below the maximum to allow for future growth.
