About The Farm

Established in 2016, HuaNong Ecorganic Farm is a research-driven farm dedicated to combining traditional agricultural wisdom with modern ecological principles. We grow over 60 species of unique Asian vegetables and cucurbits year-round. Our mission is to provide the Triangle region with top-grade, safe, healthy, and incredibly flavorful produce. We operate under a strict ecological philosophy: we do not use ANY chemical, natural, or biological pesticides, herbicides, hormones, additives, or raw manure. Preserving the native environment, minimizing land impact, maintaining healthy soil, and fostering biodiversity are paramount to everything we do.

Job Description

We are looking for 2 part-time employees for an immediate start this season to help with all aspects of daily farm operations. One position is for harvesting and packaging vegetables, female is preferred. Work hours and schedule are negligible based on availability. To start immediately and work year-round.

Qualifications

• No prior farming experience required!
• Greenhouse construction experience is preferred.
• Reliability is required.
• Dependable individuals with a strong work ethic and a positive, collaborative attitude.
• Physical stamina to handle manual labor and a willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Work efficiently

Compensation

$17-20 upon experience
