Family Therapist (Full-Time)

About the Role

The Functional Family Therapist/Clinician provides intensive home-based family therapy services, including assessments, treatment planning, family intervention, and discharge planning to at-risk youth and their families.

Responsibilities

• Conduct rapid assessments to evaluate relational and hierarchical dynamics within the home.
• Engage families quickly to initiate therapy focused on behavior change, reducing risk factors, and enhancing protective factors.
• Develop and implement treatment plans, including Relapse Prevention Plans, to support family stability.
• Assist families in managing crises independently, including on-call support.
• Coordinate with other providers involved with the case to ensure cohesive treatment delivery.
• Potentially receive training in Functional Family Therapy (FFTLLC).

Requirements

• Preferred licensed clinician (e.g., LMHC, LMSW, LMFT, LCAT) or limited permit eligible.
• 1-3 years of experience working with at-risk youth and families in mental health, counseling, or human services.
• Willingness to work community-based settings with flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Valid driver's license with acceptable driving history; ability to plan travel efficiently.
• Ability to work with diverse populations and possess organizational skills for timely documentation.
