Family Support Worker

About the role

The Family Support Worker provides direct, hands-on services and interventions to families in need under the direct supervision of the Family Services Supervisor.

Responsibilities

• Provides services and interventions in areas including family interaction, money management, employment, time management, problem solving, housing, household management, daily living skills, community resources, and transportation
• Focuses on child development, child guidance, and family rules/consequences through family interaction
• Supports children and families in the community, and maintains children within their own home as part of a team
• Performs related duties as required
