About the role
Hutchinson Public Schools has an opening for a Family Support Worker.
This position starts at $16.75 per hour and is commensurate with education and experience.
Qualifications
- Associates Degree or Bachelors degree with coursework in early childhood education or a related field (i.e., elementary education, family and consumer science, nursing, social work, counseling) or with a Home Visitor Child Development Associates (CDA) credential.
- An Associates Degree is preferred.
- Experience in working with adults and infants and toddlers.
Skills
- Ability to communicate effectively with persons from diverse backgrounds.
- Demonstrated ability to work as a member of a team.
- Organizational skills and the ability to make decisions independently.
- Must possess a valid Kansas Driver's License, insurance, and reliable transportation.
