Family Support/Visitation Specialist

Responsibilities

• As a Family Support/Visitation Specialist, you will be an essential part of the reunification process by focusing on enhancing an enriching environment that cultivates the healthy development of a child.
• Tracking the progress of the families you work with.
• Setting and obtaining goals to accomplish a safe, supportive, and loving home.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent (required) with two years of experience in a human service related position.
• Associate's degree and one year of experience or bachelor's degree in a human services field (preferred).
• Human services experience examples: social work, counseling/guidance, psychology, sociology, human development, child, youth and family studies, mental health education or a closely related human service field.
• Willingness to travel 50% (required) using personal vehicle with paid mileage.
• Work location: in-home services at multiple locations.

Pay

• Without bachelor's degree: $20/hour.
• With bachelor's degree: $21/hour.
• Total compensation package creates an actual hourly rate of $26.62 without a bachelor's degree and $27.75 with a bachelor's degree.

Schedule

• Flexible schedule.
• Evening and weekend hours are required.
• Weekly and daily schedules vary depending on client availability; flexibility and an extended work week may be required.
