Grow Families. Strengthen Futures. Miami Valley Child Development Centers (MVCDC) is seeking a Family Support Specialist to help families thrive by connecting them to the resources, services, and guidance they need.

Responsibilities

• Build strong relationships with families
• Support enrollment and attendance
• Guide goal setting
• Connect parents to health, social, and community resources
• Collaborate with teachers and service partners
• Aid in transitions and documentation
• Provide individualized support to families, including those experiencing challenges or crises

Requirements

• Dedicated human services professional
• Values family engagement, teamwork, and making a meaningful impact in early childhood programs

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Services, Social Work, Psychology, or related field
• Experience working with families in early childhood settings
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Knowledge of local community resources and services

Skills

• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
