About the Role
The Family Service Worker supports parents as they identify and meet their own goals, nurtures the development of their children in the context of their family and culture, and advocates for communities that are supportive of children and families of all cultures. This position is an entry level case management position that also assists families with enrollment into the Early Head Start/Head Start program.
Education and/or Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Bachelor's or Associate degree in social services or a related field with two years experience preferred
- Must have, within eighteen months of hire, at a minimum, a credential or certification in social work, human services, family services, counseling or a related field (training provided by Arkansas Early Learning)
Qualifications
- Must have a working telephone or cell phone
- Must have a valid driver's license with a minimum of liability insurance
- General knowledge of computers and computer programs such as Microsoft Office Suite, Google Workspace, Adobe, etc.
