Family Practice Physician

Responsibilities

• Oversees clinical operations at ACS sites in the Bronx and Brooklyn, providing patient care, clinical supervision, and program development.
• Conducts medical screenings, evaluations, and primary care for at-risk youth, serving as a liaison with hospitals and other medical facilities.
• Recruits, trains, and supervises medical and dental staff; ensures quality improvement, reviews protocols, and manages staff performance.
• Coordinates with hospitals on patient transfers; oversees dental services; ensures compliance with federal regulations such as HIPAA.
• Prepares monthly reports; participates in research; assigns special projects.

Requirements

• M.D. or D.O. degree
• Board certification in Pediatrics or Family Medicine
• At least three years of related experience, preferably with urban pediatric or adolescent populations
• Bilingual skills advantageous
