Position Highlights
- Work with other physicians in teams but manage your own panel of patients Monday–Friday
- Adult patient panel of all ages including geriatrics and some older adolescents; can be customized for interest areas
- Seniors have access to new Lifestyle Centers
- Attractive/modern facilities with electronic medical record environment
- Full-time management staff, digital radiology and onsite laboratory services across 14 clinic locations in Las Vegas
- Employed practice position with Southwest Medical

- Professionalism, adherence to ethical principles, and sensitivity to a diverse patient population
- Systems-based practice with awareness of and responsiveness to the larger context and system of health care
Responsibilities
- Provide patient care that is compassionate, appropriate and effective for the treatment of health problems and the promotion of health

- Operate within a systems-based practice, leveraging system resources to provide care of optimal value
Required Qualifications
- Family Medicine or Internal Medicine Residency trained, board certified or board eligible
- Ability to obtain Nevada license, DEA, and Pharmacy license
- Medical knowledge about established and evolving biomedical, clinical, epidemiological and social behavioral sciences and application of this knowledge to patient care
- Interpersonal and communication skills that result in effective information exchange and collaboration with patients, their families and other health professionals
- Sufficient computer skills to effectively utilize Electronic Medical Records in practice
- Practice-based learning and improvement involving investigation and evaluation of patient care, appraisal and assimilation of scientific evidence, and improvements in patient care

Salary
The salary range for this role is $226,000 to $366,000 annually based on full-time employment. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. UnitedHealth Group complies with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
