About the role
The Family Planning Clinician at Austin Health Center is responsible for providing comprehensive reproductive health care services to patients. This includes conducting medical exams, counseling on contraception and other reproductive health topics, and administering vaccines.
Responsibilities
- Conduct medical exams and provide contraceptive counseling
- Administer vaccines and other preventive health services
- Counsel patients on reproductive health issues
- Document patient interactions and medical records accurately
- Participate in staff meetings and training sessions
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., Nursing, Public Health)
- Current license to practice medicine in the state of Illinois
- Experience in family planning or reproductive health care preferred
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
