Family Nurse Practitioner / Physician Assistant

About the Role

Provide high-quality medical care as a Family Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant in an urgent care setting. Collaborate with healthcare team members to diagnose, treat, and educate patients of all ages with various acute and chronic conditions.

Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional patient service and leadership during emergencies
• Perform medical assessments, treatments, and follow-ups, including procedures like suturing, injections, and abscess drainage
• Manage onsite labs, x-rays, and other diagnostic services
• Ensure compliance with medical standards, policies, and licensing requirements
• Participate in staff education, policy development, and quality improvement initiatives
• Guide and support medical staff to maintain high standards of care

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of experience as an FNP or PA
• Active license and board certification as an APRN or PA-C
• Current DEA and BLS certifications
• DOT certification or willingness to obtain
