About the role

As a Family Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant at Fast Pace Health, you will deliver high-quality healthcare consistent with our values, ensuring optimum patient satisfaction. Your role involves providing outstanding patient service in both clinic and virtual settings, maintaining a compassionate and welcoming atmosphere.

Responsibilities

  • Provide quality care in clinic and telehealth settings, meeting patient volume goals for both.
  • Lead clinic staff (e.g., X-Ray Technologists, Nurses, Front Office Specialists) in delivering excellent patient care and guidance.
  • Review patients’ medical history, symptoms, allergies, and current medications to formulate accurate diagnoses.
  • Actively engage with clinical leadership to ensure strong patient care and resolution of concerns.
  • Ensure accurate and timely completion of patient charts, forwarding them as appropriate.
  • Implement clinical and telehealth protocols as outlined by the Chief Medical Officer and supervising physicians.
  • Analyze and interpret patient histories, symptoms, and diagnostic information to develop appropriate diagnoses.
  • Deliver patient-centric care through in-person and virtual diagnostic and therapeutic recommendations.
  • Ensure compliance with federal and state regulations, including HIPAA and health information management standards.
  • Work efficiently in fast-paced, autonomous environments, both in-clinic and virtually.
  • Order, perform, and interpret diagnostic tests; prescribe medications and educate patients on treatment plans.
  • Follow clinical practice guidelines set by the Office of Medical Affairs.
  • Attend mandatory monthly meetings with supervising physicians and E/M training.
  • Adhere to company core values: teamwork, communication, empowerment, quality of care, and friendliness.
  • Recommend improvements to clinic and telehealth leadership to enhance patient experience and care.
  • Communicate regularly with the team to support excellent patient care.
  • Welcome and onboard new employees, providing job shadowing, demonstrations, and coaching.
  • Build and maintain confidence and credibility with all employees and patients.
  • Perform physical, cognitive, and environmental functions as specified in the job’s physical demands.
  • Comply with company standards of operations and promote a respectful culture of confidentiality.
  • Consult with patients through virtual communication channels.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management.

PRN Employees: Required to work a minimum of 4 shifts per month.

Full-Time Employees: Required to work 12-hour shifts and every other weekend.

Additional Responsibilities for Ancillary Providers: Periodic on-call duties throughout the year.

Requirements

  • Master’s Degree in Nursing (MSN) or Master’s Degree in Physician Assistant Studies (MMS).
  • At least 1-2 years of experience as a provider in a relevant practice (e.g., Urgent Care, Occupational Medicine, ER, Trauma Unit, or Family Medical Practice).
  • Active, verifiable license and DEA certification (or ability to obtain within 120 days if limited by state law).
  • Ability to treat patients of all ages and meet credentialing requirements.
  • DOT certification required within 120 days of employment for full-time and part-time providers.
  • Experience levels categorized as follows:
    • Level 1: New grad with up to 1 year of experience.
    • Level 2: 1 to 5 years of experience.
    • Level 3: 5 to 10 years of experience.
    • Level 4: Over 10 years of experience.
