Responsibilities
- Provide quality care in both clinic and telehealth settings, meeting patient volume goals for both.
- Lead clinic staff (e.g., X-Ray Technologists, Nurses, and Front Office Specialists) in delivering excellent patient care and provide guidance to ensure quality professional services.
- Perform responsibilities included in the SCRIBE job description.
- Review patients’ medical history, symptoms, allergies, and current medications.
- Ask situation-specific questions to formulate accurate diagnoses and provide guidance to ensure patient satisfaction.
- Actively engage with clinical leadership and escalate concerns to management to ensure strong patient care and adherence to company values.
- Ensure accurate and timely completion of patient charts and forward them as appropriate.
- Build and maintain confidence and credibility with all employees.
- Implement clinical and telehealth protocols as outlined by the CMO and supervising physicians.
- Analyze and interpret patients' histories, symptoms, physical findings, and diagnostic information to develop appropriate diagnoses.
- Deliver excellent patient care through in-person and virtual diagnostic and therapeutic recommendations, focusing on patient-centric care, safety, cost, and reliable information.
- Ensure compliance with Federal and State regulations, guidelines, and requirements, including HIPAA and health information management issues.
- Work efficiently in a fast-paced, autonomous environment within both in-person clinic and virtual settings.
- Manage a queue of telehealth patients in a timely fashion to ensure proper follow-up.
- Order, perform, or interpret diagnostic tests, prescribe medications, and educate patients on continued treatment and care for acute and chronic conditions.
- Follow clinical practice guidelines set by the Office of Medical Affairs.
- Attend mandatory monthly meetings with supervising physicians and E/M training.
- Perform responsibilities within standard NP/PA protocols.
- Complete all mandatory compliance training to meet and exceed continued quality of care standards.

- Recommend improvements to clinic and telehealth leadership to enhance the overall patient experience and care.
- Communicate regularly within the team to support excellent patient care.
- Welcome new employees on their first day, facilitate introductions, provide clinic tours, and overview clinic processes.
- Assist new employees with learning activities and required training, including job shadowing, demonstration, and coaching.
- Maintain friendly, cordial relations with all clients and employees to foster a positive work atmosphere.
- Perform the physical, sensory, cognitive, and environmental functions of the position as specified in the physical demands.
- Comply with company standards of operations and promote a respectful culture of confidentiality.
- Consult with patients through virtual communication channels.
- Preferred experience working as a Telehealth Clinician.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management.
PRN Employees are required to work a minimum of 4 shifts per month. Full-Time Employees are required to work 12-hour shifts and every other weekend.
Requirements
- Master’s Degree in Nursing (MSN) and/or master’s degree in Physician Assistant Studies (MMS).
- At least 1-2 years of experience as a provider in a relevant practice, such as Urgent Care, Occupational Medical Facility, ER, Trauma Unit, or Family Medical Practice (strongly preferred).
- Current, active, and verifiable license and DEA in good standing with the proper regulatory agency. DEA required for all providers; if limited by years of practice under state law, DEA must be obtained within 120 days of meeting the minimum years of practice.
- Ability to treat patients of all ages and meet any credentialing requirements.
- DOT certification required to be obtained by Full-Time and Part-Time Providers within 120 days of employment and maintained during employment.
Experience Levels
- Level 1: New Grad with up to 1 year of experience as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant.
- Level 2: Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant with over 1 year and less than 5 years of experience.
- Level 3: Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant with over 5 years and less than 10 years of experience.
- Level 4: Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant with over 10 years of experience.
