Family Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant - (PRN)

About the role

The Family Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant position is available on a PRN (as-needed) basis in a manufacturing site clinic in Independence, OR. The clinic operates Monday-Wednesday from 6am-2:30pm. Compensation starts at $74.00/hour with potential for increased earnings based on experience.

Responsibilities

• Treat injuries and illnesses following Evidence-Based Medicine standards
• Provide superior clinical care and customer service to Medcor's client and employees
• Build and maintain internal team relationships
• Collaborate with client professionals in health, safety, and environmental practices
• Collaborate with client human resources and benefits professionals on clinical issues
• Support client's wellness and preventative programs
• Document and manage information using state-of-the-art EMR and other tools
• Patient education regarding medical conditions and treatment options
• Patient coaching regarding healthy behaviors

Requirements

• A valid unrestricted OR license
• Current DEA certification
• Current BLS certification
• Strong computer skills and familiarity with EMR software
• A positive and outgoing personality, and be a collaborative team player
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills – with patients, clients, and colleagues
• Willingness to go above and beyond for excellent customer service
• Comfortable working in an on-site clinic environment

Qualifications

• Experience in occupational health is a plus
• Previous work-site clinic experience is a plus
