Family Nurse Practitioner – Light Weekday Schedule / Solo Practice

We are recruiting an experienced Family Medicine Nurse Practitioner for a locum tenens assignment in Lincoln, Nebraska, running from September through early October. This role is based in an employee health clinic and offers a light daily caseload with a shortened Friday schedule.

About the Role

Clinicians will see employees and their family members in a solo-practice setting, with a lower daily patient volume than a typical urgent care or ED role.

Schedule

• Monday–Thursday: 7:30 AM–5:00 PM
• Friday: 7:30 AM–11:30 AM

Responsibilities

• Treat patients ages two years and older
• See approximately 8–10 patients per day, mostly working independently
• Provide comprehensive family medicine care in an employee health clinic setting
• Document care using the Athena EMR system

Requirements

• Active, unrestricted Nebraska APRN license
• FNP or DNP certification preferred
• Board certification required
• ACLS and BLS certifications
• 1 year of Family Medicine NP experience
