Family Nurse Practitioner – Hospitalist (Day Shift)
About the role
This daytime position offers flexible, rotating 12-hour shifts that promote a healthy work-life balance.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care under the supervision of physicians
- Conduct initial and follow-up patient assessments
- Develop and implement treatment plans
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests
- Prescribe medications as appropriate
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams
Qualifications
- Candidates with 12 years of acute care experience as a registered nurse or nurse practitioner are preferred.
- Current licensure as a Family Nurse Practitioner in New York State.
- Experience in hospitalist care preferred.
