Family Nurse Practitioner

Floating opportunity for a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) to deliver urgent, primary, telemedicine, and occupational care across multiple clinics in the Raleigh region.

About the role

You will provide fast, patient-focused care in a high-volume, team-based urgent-care setting, offering leadership and flexibility as you rotate among clinics.

Responsibilities

• Perform minor surgical procedures (toenail removal, foreign-object removal, etc.)
• Suture wounds and apply splints
• Conduct general orthopedic evaluations and manage injuries
• Review x-rays (final interpretation by radiologist)
• Diagnose and treat general dermatologic, ophthalmic, and gynecologic conditions
• Interpret EKGs and manage emergency presentations
• Care for pediatric patients of all ages
• Deliver occupational-medicine services
• Provide telemedicine consultations

Schedule

• Shifts assigned two months in advance
• MainStreet clinics: Monday–Friday 8:00 a.m.–8:00 p.m., Saturday–Sunday 9:00 a.m.–4:00 p.m.
• KidsStreet clinics (select locations): Monday–Friday 8:00 a.m.–8:00 p.m., Saturday–Sunday 9:00 a.m.–9:00 p.m.
• Hours may vary for training, floating needs, or operational adjustments

Qualifications

• Board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner
• Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or higher
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Experience with EMR systems and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) preferred
