About the role
Join MainStreet Family Care as a floating Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) serving multiple clinics in the Central/East Georgia region. Provide patient-focused urgent care, primary medical care, telemedicine, and occupational medicine in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Perform minor surgeries (e.g., toenail removal, foreign object removal)
- Suturing and splinting
- General orthopedic evaluations and management, including review of x-rays (over-read by Radiologist)
- General dermatology and treatment of eye problems
- EKG interpretation
- Emergency management
- General GYN expertise
- Care for children of all ages
- Occupational medicine
- Telemedicine services
Qualifications
- Family Nurse Practitioner Board Certification required
- MSN or higher education required
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Experience with EMR and Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, etc.) preferred
Schedule
Shifts are determined two months in advance and may vary based on company needs, training, or floater assignments.
- MainStreet Clinic Hours: Monday – Friday 8:00 a.m. – 8:00 p.m., Saturday and Sunday 9:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.
- KidsStreet Clinic Hours: Monday – Friday 8:00 a.m. – 8:00 p.m., Saturday and Sunday 9:00 a.m. – 9:00 p.m.
