Family Nurse Practitioner

MainStreet Family Care is growing and seeking a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) to provide patient-focused care across multiple clinics in the Central/East Georgia region. Services include urgent care, primary medical care, telemedicine, and occupational medicine. The ideal candidate will be flexible, work well in teams, and provide leadership in a high-volume, fast-paced urgent care environment. Clinics served include locations within 90 miles of your home address (e.g., Charlotte, Cameron, Winston-Salem, Liberty, and Locust).

Responsibilities

• Perform minor surgeries (e.g., toenail removal, foreign object removal)
• Suturing and splinting
• General orthopedic evaluations and management
• Review of x-rays (over-read by a radiologist)
• General dermatology and eye problem assessments
• EKG interpretations
• Emergency management
• General GYN expertise
• Care for children of all ages
• Occupational medicine services
• Telemedicine consultations

Qualifications

• Family Nurse Practitioner Board Certification (required)
• MSN or higher education (required)
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Experience with EMR and Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, etc.) preferred

Schedule

• Shifts determined two months in advance
• MainStreet Clinic Hours: Monday–Friday 8:00 a.m.–8:00 p.m., Saturday–Sunday 9:00 a.m.–4:00 p.m.
• KidsStreet Clinic Hours: Monday–Friday 8:00 a.m.–8:00 p.m., Saturday–Sunday 9:00 a.m.–9:00 p.m.
• Work hours subject to change based on company needs, training, or floater assignments
