Family Nurse Practitioner

Responsibilities

• Care for every patient within your scope of practice.
• Treat conditions such as colds, flu, strep, COVID, and upper respiratory issues.
• Perform minor procedures like toenail removal and foreign object removal.
• Suture wounds and splint injuries.
• Evaluate and manage general orthopedic conditions.
• Interpret x-rays under supervision of a radiologist.
• Treat general dermatological issues.
• Assess general eye problems.
• Perform general EKG interpretations.
• Manage emergency situations.
• Treat general gynecological needs.
• Provide occupational medicine services.
• Offer telemedicine consultations.

Qualifications

• Family Nurse Practitioner board certification required.
• Master's degree in Nursing (MSN) or higher education required (new graduates welcome).
• DOT certification or willingness to obtain DOT certification (MainStreet covers the certification cost).
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) and Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, etc.) is preferred.

Pay

Starting bonus
Bonus Incentive $750
CME allowance $750 per year
UpToDate subscription
