Family Nurse Practitioner
Responsibilities
- Care for every patient within your scope of practice.
- Diagnose and treat cold, flu, strep, COVID, and other upper respiratory issues.
- Perform minor procedures such as toenail removal, foreign object removal, etc.
- Suture wounds.
- Splint injuries.
- Conduct general orthopedic evaluations and management.
- Review x-rays under the supervision of a radiologist.
- Treat general dermatological conditions.
- Manage general eye problems.
- Interpret general EKGs.
- Handle emergency management situations.
- Treat general GYN expertise.
- Provide occupational medicine services.
- Offer telemedicine services.
Qualifications
- Family Nurse Practitioner Board Certification required.
- MSN or higher education required (new graduates friendly!)
- DOT certified or willing to become DOT certified (MainStreet covers the certification cost).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience working in EMR and Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, etc.) preferred.

About the Role
MainStreet Family Care is a growing clinic that provides urgent care, primary medical care, telemedicine, and occupational medicine services. The ideal candidate will lead a small team in a high-volume, fast-paced urgent care environment. This is an excellent opportunity for new graduates, with support available during the on-site orientation and training period.
Schedule
We are open extended hours, 7-days-a-week: Monday – Friday 8:00 a.m. – 8:00 p.m. Saturday and Sunday 9:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. Work a rotating schedule that includes every other weekend.
