Family Nurse Practitioner

Responsibilities

• Care for every patient within your scope of practice.
• Diagnose and treat cold, flu, strep, COVID, and other upper respiratory issues.
• Perform minor procedures such as toenail removal and foreign object removal.
• Suture wounds and splint injuries.
• Evaluate and manage general orthopedic conditions.
• Interpret x-rays under supervision of a radiologist.
• Treat general dermatological issues and eye problems.
• Perform basic EKG interpretations.
• Manage emergency situations.
• Treat general GYN expertise.
• Provide occupational medicine services.
• Offer telemedicine services.

Qualifications

• Family Nurse Practitioner board certification required.
• MSN or higher education required (new graduates welcome).
• DOT certification or willingness to obtain DOT certification (company covers certification costs).
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience with EMR and Microsoft Office suite (preferred).
