Responsibilities
- Care for every patient within your scope of practice.
- Diagnose and treat cold, flu, strep, COVID, and other upper respiratory issues.
- Perform minor procedures such as toenail removal, foreign object removal, etc.
- Suture wounds.
- Splint injuries.
- Conduct general orthopedic evaluations and management.
- Review x-rays under the supervision of a radiologist.
- Treat general dermatological conditions.
- Manage general eye problems.
- Interpret general EKGs.
- Handle emergency management needs.
- Provide general GYN expertise.
- Treat children of all ages.
- Offer occupational medicine services.
- Utilize telemedicine services.
Qualifications
- Family Nurse Practitioner board certification required.
- Master's degree in Nursing (MSN) or higher education required (new graduates are welcome).
- DOT certification or willingness to obtain DOT certification (MainStreet covers the certification cost).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience with EMR and Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, etc.) is preferred.

About the Role
MainStreet Family Care is growing and seeking a fast, fun, and friendly Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) to join our team full-time. You will provide patient-focused care in a high-volume and fast-paced urgent care environment, leading a small team and utilizing your full scope of practice.
Schedule
We are open extended hours, 7-days-a-week: Monday – Friday 8:00 a.m. – 8:00 p.m. Saturday and Sunday 9:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. Work a rotating schedule that includes every other weekend.
