Family Nurse Practitioner

Join MainStreet Family Care as a full-time Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) in Erwin, NC and receive an $8,500 sign-on bonus! We’re growing and seeking a fast, fun, and friendly FNP to deliver patient-focused care across urgent care, primary medical care, telemedicine, and occupational medicine.

You’ll practice to the full scope of your license, treating patients of all ages—from infants to geriatrics—while serving as the clinical leader and role model for your medical-assistant team. MainStreet clinics operate in rural communities 362 days a year, offering extended access to care and potential eligibility for state-funded tuition or student-loan reimbursement grants.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and treat cold, flu, strep, COVID, and other upper-respiratory illnesses
• Perform minor procedures (toenail removal, foreign-object removal, etc.)
• Suture wounds and apply splints
• Conduct general orthopedic evaluations and manage conditions
• Review x-rays (with radiologist over-read)
• Address general dermatology, eye problems, and EKG interpretations
• Provide emergency management and general GYN care
• Treat pediatric patients of all ages
• Deliver occupational-medicine and telemedicine services

Qualifications

• Family Nurse Practitioner Board Certification (required)
• MSN or higher (new graduates welcome)
• Willingness to obtain DOT certification (cost covered by employer)
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Experience with EMR and Microsoft Office suite (preferred)

Schedule

Clinics are open 7 days a week with extended hours:

• Monday–Friday: 8:00 a.m.–8:00 p.m.
• Saturday & Sunday: 9:00 a.m.–4:00 p.m.

Rotating schedule includes every other weekend; sample rotation:

• Week 1: Monday, Tuesday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday (ON)
• Week 2: Wednesday, Thursday (ON)
