Family Nurse Practitioner
About the role
MainStreet Family Care is seeking a full-time Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) to provide patient-focused care in an urgent care, primary care, telemedicine, and occupational medicine setting. This opportunity is ideal for FNPs early in their career, including new graduates, and offers extensive training and support. You will lead a small team in a high-volume, fast-paced environment while utilizing your full scope of practice to treat patients of all ages.

Responsibilities
- Diagnose and treat illnesses such as cold, flu, strep, COVID, and other upper respiratory issues
- Perform minor procedures (e.g., toenail removal, foreign object removal)
- Suturing and splinting
- General orthopedic evaluations and management
- Review x-rays (over-read by a radiologist)
- Manage general dermatology, eye problems, and EKG interpretations
- Provide emergency management and general GYN care
- Treat children of all ages
- Deliver occupational medicine and telemedicine services
Schedule
Clinics are open 7 days a week with extended hours:
- Monday – Friday: 8:00 a.m. – 8:00 p.m.
- Saturday and Sunday: 9:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.
Work a rotating schedule that includes every other weekend. Sample schedule:
- Week 1: Monday (ON), Tuesday (ON), Wednesday (OFF), Thursday (OFF), Friday (ON), Saturday (ON), Sunday (ON)
- Week 2: Monday (OFF), Tuesday (OFF), Wednesday (ON), Thursday (ON), Friday (OFF), Saturday (OFF), Sunday (OFF)
Qualifications
- Family Nurse Practitioner Board Certification (required)
- MSN or higher education (required; new graduates welcome)
- DOT certification or willingness to obtain it (cost covered by employer)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Experience with EMR and Microsoft Office suite (preferred)
