Family Nurse Practitioner

Responsibilities

• Care for every patient within your scope of practice.
• Diagnose and treat cold, flu, strep, COVID, and other upper respiratory issues.
• Perform minor procedures such as toenail removal and foreign object removal.
• Suture wounds and splint injuries.
• Evaluate and manage general orthopedic conditions.
• Interpret x-rays under supervision of a radiologist.
• Treat general dermatological concerns.
• Assess general eye problems.
• Perform general EKG interpretations.
• Manage emergency situations.
• Provide general GYN expertise.
• Treat children of all ages.
• Offer occupational medicine services.
• Utilize telemedicine services.

Qualifications

• Family Nurse Practitioner board certification required.
• MSN or higher education required (new graduates friendly!)
• DOT certified or willing to become DOT certified (MainStreet covers the cost).
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience working in EMR and Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, etc.) preferred.

Schedule

MainStreet Clinic Hours: Open extended hours, 7-days-a-week: Monday – Friday 8:00 a.m. – 8:00 p.m. Saturday and Sunday 9:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. Work a rotating schedule that includes every other weekend.

About the Role

MainStreet Family Care is growing and seeking a fast, fun, and friendly Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) to join our team full time. This is an incredible opportunity for FNPs early in their career, including brand new grads!
