Responsibilities

  • Provide quality care in both clinic and telehealth settings while meeting patient volume goals for in-person and virtual visits.
  • Lead clinic staff (e.g., X-Ray Technologists, Nurses, Front Office Specialists) in delivering excellent patient care and provide guidance to ensure quality professional services.
  • Review patients’ medical history, symptoms, allergies, and current medications, and ask situation-specific questions to formulate accurate diagnoses.
  • Actively engage with clinical leadership and escalate concerns to management to ensure strong patient care and adherence to company values.
  • Ensure accurate and timely completion of patient charts and forward them as appropriate.
  • Implement clinical and telehealth protocols as outlined by the Chief Medical Officer (CMO) and supervising physicians.
  • Analyze and interpret patients' histories, symptoms, physical findings, and diagnostic information to develop appropriate diagnoses.
  • Deliver patient-centric care through in-person and virtual diagnostic and therapeutic recommendations, prioritizing safety, cost, and accuracy.
  • Ensure compliance with Federal and State regulations, including HIPAA and health information management standards.
  • Work efficiently in a fast-paced, autonomous environment within both in-person clinic and virtual settings.
  • Manage a queue of telehealth patients in a timely manner to ensure proper follow-up.
  • Order, perform, or interpret diagnostic tests, prescribe medications, and educate patients on continued treatment for acute and chronic conditions.
  • Follow clinical practice guidelines set by the Office of Medical Affairs.
  • Attend mandatory monthly meetings with supervising physicians and E/M training.
  • Adhere to standard Nurse Practitioner protocols and complete all mandatory compliance training.

  • Recommend improvements to clinic and telehealth leadership to enhance patient experience and care.
  • Communicate regularly with the team to support excellent patient care.
  • Welcome and onboard new employees, including facilitating introductions, clinic tours, and process overviews.
  • Assist new employees with learning activities, job shadowing, demonstrations, and coaching.
  • Build and maintain confidence and credibility with all employees while fostering a positive work atmosphere.
  • Consult with patients through virtual communication channels.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Schedule Requirements:

  • PRN Employees: Minimum of 4 shifts per month.
  • Full-Time Employees: 12-hour shifts, including every other weekend.

Additional Responsibilities for Ancillary Providers: Periodic on-call duties throughout the year.

Requirements

  • Master’s Degree in Nursing (MSN).
  • Current, active, and verifiable Family Nurse Practitioner license and DEA certification (or ability to obtain DEA within 120 days if limited by state law).
  • Ability to treat patients of all ages and meet credentialing requirements, including DOT certification (required within 120 days for full-time and part-time Providers).
  • Preferred: 1-2 years of experience as a provider in Urgent Care, Occupational Medical Facility, ER, Trauma Unit, or Family Medical Practice.
  • Experience levels:
    • Level 1: New graduate with up to 1 year of experience.
    • Level 2: 1-5 years of experience.
    • Level 3: 5-10 years of experience.
    • Level 4: Over 10 years of experience.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, autonomous environment.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to build positive relationships with patients, staff, and management.
  • Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and promoting a respectful culture.
  • Preferred experience working as a Telehealth Clinician.
