Responsibilities

  • Provide quality care in both clinic and telehealth settings while meeting patient volume goals for in-person and virtual visits
  • Lead clinic staff (e.g., X-Ray Technologists, Nurses, and Front Office Specialists) in delivering excellent patient care and provide guidance to ensure quality professional services
  • Review patients’ medical history, symptoms, allergies, and current medications; ask situation-specific questions to formulate accurate diagnoses
  • Actively engage with clinical leadership and escalate concerns to management to ensure strong patient care and adherence to company values
  • Ensure accurate and timely completion of patient charts and forward them as appropriate
  • Implement clinical and telehealth protocols as outlined by the Chief Medical Officer (CMO) and supervising physicians
  • Analyze and interpret patients' histories, symptoms, physical findings, and diagnostic information to develop appropriate diagnoses
  • Deliver patient-centric care through in-person and virtual diagnostic and therapeutic recommendations, focusing on safety, cost, and accuracy
  • Ensure compliance with Federal and State regulations, including HIPAA and health information management standards
  • Work efficiently in a fast-paced, autonomous environment within both in-person clinic and virtual settings
  • Manage a queue of telehealth patients in a timely fashion to ensure proper follow-up
  • Order, perform, or interpret diagnostic tests; prescribe medications; and educate patients on continued treatment and care for acute and chronic conditions
  • Follow clinical practice guidelines set by the Office of Medical Affairs
  • Attend mandatory monthly meetings with supervising physicians and E/M training

  • Recommend improvements to clinic and telehealth leadership to enhance patient experience and care
  • Communicate regularly with the team to support excellent patient care

  • Build and maintain confidence and credibility with all employees
  • Perform the physical, cognitive, and environmental functions of the position as specified in the physical demands

  • Consult with patients through virtual communication channels
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management

Additional Requirements:

  • PRN Employees: Required to work a minimum of 4 shifts per month
  • Full-Time Employees: Required to work 12-hour shifts and every other weekend
  • Ancillary Providers: Responsible for on-call duties periodically throughout the year

Experience Levels:

  • Level 1: New Grad with up to 1 year of experience as a nurse practitioner
  • Level 2: Nurse practitioner with over 1 year and less than 5 years of experience
  • Level 3: Nurse practitioner with over 5 years and less than 10 years of experience
  • Level 4: Nurse practitioner with over 10 years of experience

Requirements

  • Education: Master’s Degree in Nursing (MSN)
  • Experience: At least 1-2 years of experience as a provider in a relevant practice, such as Urgent Care, Occupational Medical Facility, ER, Trauma Unit, or Family Medical Practice (strongly preferred)
  • License/Certification:
    • Active, unrestricted Family Nurse Practitioner license in good standing
    • Active DEA registration (required for all providers; if limited by years of practice under state law, DEA will be required within 120 days of meeting minimum requirements)
    • Ability to treat patients of all ages and meet any credentialing requirements
    • DOT certification required for Full-Time and Part-Time Providers within 120 days of employment and maintained during employment
