Responsibilities

  • Provide quality care in both clinic and telehealth settings while meeting patient volume goals.
  • Lead clinic staff (X-Ray Technologists, Nurses, Front Office Specialists) in delivering excellent patient care and provide guidance to ensure professional services and patient satisfaction.
  • Perform responsibilities outlined in the SCRIBE job description.
  • Review patients’ medical history, symptoms, allergies, and current medications.
  • Ask situation-specific questions to formulate accurate diagnoses and provide guidance for quality care.
  • Actively engage with clinical leadership to resolve patient care concerns and uphold company values.
  • Ensure accurate and timely completion of patient charts and forward them as appropriate.
  • Implement clinical and telehealth protocols as outlined by the Chief Medical Officer (CMO) and supervising physicians.
  • Analyze and interpret patients’ histories, symptoms, and diagnostic information to develop appropriate diagnoses.
  • Deliver patient-centric care through in-person and virtual diagnostic and therapeutic recommendations.
  • Ensure compliance with federal and state regulations, including HIPAA and health information management standards.
  • Work efficiently in a fast-paced, autonomous environment across in-clinic and virtual settings.
  • Manage telehealth patient queues promptly to ensure proper follow-up.
  • Order, perform, and interpret diagnostic tests; prescribe medications; and educate patients on treatment plans for acute and chronic conditions.
  • Follow clinical practice guidelines set by the Office of Medical Affairs.
  • Attend mandatory monthly meetings with supervising physicians and E/M training.
  • Perform responsibilities within standard Nurse Practitioner protocols.
  • Complete all mandatory compliance training to meet quality-of-care standards.

  • Recommend improvements to clinic and telehealth leadership to enhance patient experience and care.
  • Communicate regularly with the team to support excellent patient care.
  • Welcome and onboard new employees, including introductions, clinic tours, and process overviews.
  • Assist new employees with training through job shadowing, demonstrations, and coaching.
  • Maintain friendly, cordial relations with clients and employees to foster a positive work atmosphere.
  • Perform physical, cognitive, and environmental functions as specified in the job’s physical demands.
  • Comply with company operational standards and promote a respectful culture of confidentiality.
  • Consult with patients through virtual communication channels.
  • Preferred experience working as a Telehealth Clinician.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Schedule requirements:

  • PRN Employees: Minimum of 4 shifts per month.
  • Full-Time Employees: 12-hour shifts and every other weekend.

Additional responsibilities for Ancillary Providers: Periodic on-call duties throughout the year.

Requirements

  • Master’s Degree in Nursing (MSN).
  • At least 1–2 years of experience as a provider in a relevant practice (e.g., Urgent Care, Occupational Medical Facility, ER, Trauma Unit, or Family Medical Practice).
  • Current, active, and verifiable license and DEA certification (required for all providers; if limited by state law, DEA must be obtained within 120 days of meeting minimum practice requirements).
  • Ability to treat patients of all ages and meet credentialing requirements.
  • DOT certification required for Full-Time and Part-Time Providers within 120 days of employment.

Experience Levels

  • Level 1: New graduate with up to 1 year of experience as a Nurse Practitioner.
  • Level 2: Nurse Practitioner with 1–5 years of experience.
  • Level 3: Nurse Practitioner with 5–10 years of experience.
  • Level 4: Nurse Practitioner with over 10 years of experience.
