Family Nurse Practitioner - 2 Month Contract

About the role

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Family Nurse Practitioner to join our team at Proactive MD. Our goal is to provide exceptional healthcare to our clients while fostering a supportive and engaged work environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive, patient-centered care in a primary care setting.
• Engage with clients to understand their health needs and develop personalized treatment plans.
• Offer on-site medical services including but not limited to family practice, occupational health, and wellness programs.
• Collaborate with a collaborative physician to ensure continuity of care and appropriate prescription writing.
• Adhere to HIPAA, OSHA, and clinical quality standards to maintain patient confidentiality and safety.
• Utilize Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems to manage patient data efficiently.
• Develop and maintain a strong rapport with clients to improve health outcomes and employee satisfaction.

Requirements

• Master's degree (MSN)
• A minimum of 3 years' experience in a Family Practice/Primary Care environment
• Licensed as a Registered Nurse and Nurse Practitioner in the state of posting
• Certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (preferred)
• Occupational Health Experience required (DOT physicals, UDS, Hearing testing, triage injuries)
• Knowledge of workplace health and safety concepts and OSHA regulations
• Current Certification in AHA or ARC Basic Life Support for medical providers
• Appropriate certification to write prescriptions under the authority of the Collaborative Physician in accordance with state and federal guidelines
• Thorough knowledge and adherence to HIPAA, OSHA, and clinical quality standards
• Demonstrated problem-solving and workflow management skills
• Must be willing to develop a thorough understanding of the Mission, Vision, Values, and Patient Promise of Proactive MD and be a champion of them in each patient encounter.

Pay

The salary range for this position is $XX - $YY based on experience and qualifications.

Schedule

Monday through Thursday from 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM, with Wednesday and Thursday from 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM, and Friday from 7:00 AM to 1:00 PM.
