About the role
The University of Florida, College of Medicine, Department of Community Health and Family Medicine (CHFM), seeks a full-time MD/DO Family Medicine physician to join our rural practice in beautiful Old Town, Florida. This is a non-tenure track faculty position at the rank of Assistant or Associate Professor, depending on qualifications.
Responsibilities
- Deliver comprehensive, full-time primary care services at UF Health Family Medicine – Old Town Clinic.
- Participate in clinic or inpatient call rotations.
- Collaborate with and supervise Advanced Practice Providers (ARNPs/PAs) in a team-based care model.
- Contribute to the overall clinical operations and faculty responsibilities as assigned.
- Teach and mentor medical students during patient care activities and, where applicable, inpatient rounds.
- Participate in departmental educational conferences and seminars.
- Engage in scholarly activity and professional development, with mentorship and departmental support available for academic presentations and publications.
Requirements
- An M.D. or D.O. degree (or equivalent), board certification or eligibility in Family Medicine, and a current Florida medical license (or eligibility) are required.
- Experience with Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems.

Pay
Salary commensurate with education and experience. In addition to the base salary, productivity incentives are available based on clinical productivity.
Schedule
Full-time is strongly preferred; however, part-time may be considered depending on the clinic's needs and applicants.
