Family Medicine Physician
About the role
As our Family Medicine Physician, you will be at the forefront of delivering high-quality, cost-effective, and values-based patient care, crucial to shaping and executing our medical services. Your expertise will be instrumental in comprehensive health assessments, accurate diagnoses, and developing holistic management plans. You'll directly impact healthcare outcomes, emphasizing preventative care, health promotion, and the intricate coordination of care for all patients, including those with complex healthcare needs.
Responsibilities
- Perform thorough general health histories and physical examinations, expertly interpreting diagnostic tests to identify deviations and inform clinical decisions.
- Develop and analyze differential diagnoses for a wide array of conditions, spanning gynecologic, obstetric, reproductive health, and common primary care issues.
- Provide vital health promotion and disease prevention education.
- Seamlessly collaborate with other healthcare professionals to meet diverse patient needs.
Requirements
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree from an accredited institution
- Board certification or board eligible in Surgery from the American Board of Family Medicine or American Osteopathic Board of Family Physicians
- Oregon medical license and DEA certificate
- Specialty training at an ACGME accredited facility
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and healthcare professionals
