About the role

UNC Boylan Healthcare at North Hills is seeking a full-time primary care physician, BC/BE in Family Medicine. With a focus on preventive health care, they detect and modify risk factors before they lead to serious illness in adults 18 and older. They offer a wide range of convenient on-site services, using the most advanced technology and equipment.

Responsibilities

• Provide acute illness care
• Perform biopsies, bone density scans, cardiac stress testing, gynecology, immunizations, IV therapy, laceration repair, management of chronic health conditions, medical acupuncture, mole, wart and skin lesion removal, physical exams, pulmonary function testing, nuclear treadmill testing, nutrition, on-site x-rays, on-site laboratory, ultrasounds, ThermiSmooth and ThermiVa.

Qualifications

• Training from an accredited Family Medicine Program
• Board Certified or Board Eligible
• Active, unrestricted NC Medical License or the ability to obtain

Requirements

• Licensure/Certification Requirements: DEA, ACLS, MD
• Knowledge/Skills/and Abilities Requirements: Proficient in English communication, high-level quantitative and qualitative reasoning skills for diagnosing medical and clinical issues.

Education Requirements: Graduation from an accredited school of medicine.

Licensure/Certification Requirements: DEA; ACLS; MD

Professional Experience Requirements: Prefer prior experience.

Knowledge/Skills/and Abilities Requirements: Reasoning skills are essential in order to diagnose medical and clinical issues presented by patients. Certificates, licenses, registrations: North Carolina Medical License, DEA License, BLS/ACLS certification preferred. Board certified in Family Medicine.
