Family Medicine Physician (MD/DO)

About the role

The Petaluma Health Center is seeking a Family Medicine Physician to join their award-winning team. Located in Petaluma and Rohnert Park, the center provides comprehensive healthcare services including family medicine, maternity, behavioral health, wellness, optometry, dental, and specialty services.

Responsibilities

• Provide quality primary medical care in a compassionate, caring, and innovative environment
• Work in a team-based environment with behavioral health integration
• Mentor and teach medical students rotating through the clinic
• Participate in clinic strategic initiatives and new healthcare programs
• Work primarily in an outpatient community clinic environment
• Take after-hours calls, participate in weekend clinics, supervise PA/NP staff, and work with external locations
• Perform physical examinations, develop differential diagnoses, order laboratory studies, prescribe medications, and refer patients as necessary
• Document patient information accurately and timely according to protocol
• Manage medical follow-up effectively
• Participate in internal quality improvement teams

Requirements

• Graduate from an accredited medical school
• Complete an accredited residency program
• Have 2+ years of professional experience, preferably in a community-based health clinic
• Be board-certified in Family Medicine with a current California Medical License and DEA registration
• Maintain CME requirements for certification renewals
• Be CPR certified

Qualifications

• Bilingual in English and Spanish
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, Outlook, Word, and Excel
• Knowledge of electronic medical records

$227,000 to $275,065 per year
