Family Medicine Physician - Locum Tenens Coverage

About the Role

This outpatient clinic-based position involves providing comprehensive family medicine services to adult male patients within a correctional facility setting. The clinician will conduct patient evaluations, manage chronic and acute conditions, and deliver preventive care while maintaining accurate documentation.

Responsibilities

• Manage a caseload of approximately 20 patients per day.
• Assess, diagnose, and treat medical conditions.
• Provide preventive healthcare and manage chronic illnesses.
• Collaborate with facility staff to ensure quality patient outcomes.
• Perform clinical duties with a focus on safety and compliance.

Schedule

20 hours weekly, Monday through Friday, during daytime hours.

Requirements

• Board certification or eligibility in family medicine.
• Active Ohio state medical license, DEA registration, and BLS certification.
• Prescriptive authority required.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a correctional healthcare environment.
