Family Medicine Physician - Locum Tenens

Seeking a Board-Certified Physician (Family Medicine or Internal Medicine) for a clinic-based role providing outpatient primary care to adult patients in a Federally Qualified Health Center setting. Provide comprehensive primary care services to patients aged 14 and older, collaborating with a team including one physician and three nurse practitioners.Manage a caseload of 15-20 patients per day, working 4 to 5 days a week during daytime hours.Handle patient visits, diagnose, treat, and prescribe medications with prescriptive authority, adhering to clinical workflows.Participate in on-site call coverage at a 1:6 ratio, with calls routed through a service; typically 1-2 calls weekly.Required credentials include an active Alabama medical license, DEA registration, current board certification or eligibility, and flu vaccination.Support staff includes one physician and three nurse practitioners, working in a structured, collaborative environment.Work on-site in Huntsville, Alabama, in a facility offering primary care and access to local cultural and recreational attractions.
