Family Medicine Physician GME Assistant Program Director

Responsibilities

• Supervising residents in ambulatory family medicine continuity clinic and hospital-based inpatient care
• Providing structured didactics, bedside teaching, and procedural instruction
• Participating in curriculum design and evaluation consistent with ACGME Family Medicine Program Requirements
• Engaging in scholarly activity including educational innovation, research, or quality improvement
• Maintaining a continuity clinical practice
• (Optional) OB labor and delivery services with call

Requirements

• Must be board certified ABFM or AOBFM in Family Medicine
• Must have or be able to obtain a Florida medical license
• Must have a minimum of 3 years of core faculty teaching experience in an ACGME accredited Family Medicine Residency Program
• Must have strong administrative and team building skills
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
