About the role

Lead an established, well-regarded Family Medicine Residency Program
Collaborative, resident-centered culture with a true collegial atmosphere
Balanced role with approximately 1/3 clinical care, 1/3 precepting/support, and 1/3 administrative leadership
Program Director embedded in the clinic with an open-door, highly accessible leadership style
Strong educational environment with daily noon conference and engaged learners
Inpatient service approximately 1:6 weeks, with manageable call structure and resident support
Active residency social media presence and high resident engagement
New affiliation with DO medical schools, offering opportunities for program growth
Dedicated professional development support, including additional CME days and leadership training

Responsibilities

Lead the Family Medicine Residency Program
Ensure a collaborative and resident-centered environment
Manage clinical, precepting, and administrative responsibilities
Serve as a mentor and advocate for residents
Develop and implement educational initiatives
Maintain compliance with accreditation standards and regulatory requirements
Engage with the broader Lifepoint Health community

Requirements

MD/DO degree
Fellowship in Family Medicine
At least 3 years of post-fellowship experience in a residency program
Experience in program administration and leadership
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively
Commitment to lifelong learning and professional development
