Part‑time Family Medicine Physician position with National Wound Physician Group in Thomasville, GA. The role offers clinical satisfaction, autonomy, flexibility, and work‑life balance with no nights, no call, and no weekend responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Develop expertise in wound management under the guidance of wound‑certified physician trainers and fellowship directors.
• Utilize cutting‑edge clinical technologies and the latest wound‑care modalities.
• Provide bedside wound care in skilled‑nursing facilities and long‑term acute‑care hospitals across the network (over 3,200 facilities in 28 states).
• Conduct weekly wound rounds at each assigned facility.
• Document clinical encounters point‑of‑care in real time using the proprietary wound‑specific EMR.

Requirements

• Active, unrestricted medical license (MD/DO) in the state where you will practice.
• Minimum commitment of three weekdays per week (part‑time) – full‑time requires four to five days.
• W2 employment contract (no work‑visa sponsorship available).

Pay

Schedule

• Autonomous, flexible scheduling with no nights, no call, and no weekend clinical responsibilities.
• Full‑time schedule: Monday‑Friday, 7 am–4 pm (approximately a 45‑hour work week).
• Part‑time role: minimum of three weekdays per week.
• Mobile practice: physicians travel within a 40‑ to 60‑mile radius of the practice location, visiting 2‑3 facilities per day and seeing approximately 20‑30 patients daily.
