About the role
This full-time primary care physician manages a diverse patient panel, providing acute, chronic, and wellness visits both in-office and via telehealth. Responsibilities include continuous learning through Clinical Rounds, collaborating with in-office and virtual teams, utilizing clinical training for in-office procedures, and supervising NP or PA colleagues. Flexibility to obtain additional state licensure for virtual care is required.
Responsibilities
- Manage a broad patient panel with varied healthcare needs
- Conduct in-office, telehealth, and testing center visits
- Participate in ongoing education and team collaboration
- Apply clinical training and perform in-office procedures
- Supervise colleagues as needed
Qualifications
- Completed or enrolled in an accredited Family Medicine or Medicine/Pediatrics residency
- At least 2 years of outpatient primary care experience seeing all ages
- Board certified or eligible in Family Medicine or Medicine/Pediatrics, with plans for certification within a year
- Licensed in Connecticut before start date
- Strong communication skills, clinical proficiency, and tech-savviness
- Passion for human-centered care, teamwork, adaptability, and openness to feedback
