Job Summary
Baylor Scott & White Health is seeking a Board Certified/Board Eligible Family Medicine physician to join an established Primary Care group in Waxahachie, Texas.
About the Role
Baylor Scott & White Family Medical Center – Waxahachie provides comprehensive, quality medical care in a comforting environment to families in the area. The board-certified primary care physicians and staff here work to integrate all aspects of general internal medicine to patients of all ages. The practice is part of the HTPN (Health Transformation Program Network) outpatient primary care practice located on the campus of Baylor Scott & White Medical Center – Waxahachie.
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive, quality medical care to patients in a comfortable setting
- Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care
- Participate in shared call arrangements by phone
- Utilize Epic EMR for efficient documentation and communication
Requirements
- Board Certification or Board Eligibility in Family Medicine
- Experience in outpatient family medicine preferred
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Qualifications
- Medical Degree from an accredited institution
- Current license to practice medicine in the state of Texas
- Passing score on the USMLE or COMLEX examination
