Family Medicine Physician

About the role

This is an exceptional opportunity for a motivated physician to join an employed position within a busy, well-respected practice, supported by a strong referral base and the full resources of a robust health system network. Join an established team of 1 Physician and 1 Nurse Practitioner. Each provider has 1:1 Medical Assistant support. Remote RN triage support available through a regional pool. Physicians take their own call Monday–Thursday nights. Weekend call rotation: 1:7 (increasing to 1:8 in November 2026).

Responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive, patient-centered primary care, including high-quality diagnostic and treatment services, to improve the health and well-being of the community.
• Coordinate seamless care transitions for patients, managing specialized consultations, inpatient admissions, and collaborating with case management for successful discharge planning.
• Lead or actively participate in continuous quality improvement initiatives to enhance the efficiency and cost-effectiveness of care delivery within the clinic and the wider system.
• Maintain complete and timely patient documentation and electronic medical records to ensure compliance, accurate records, and support the financial integrity of the practice.
• Ability to practice autonomously and demonstrate comfort managing a solo outpatient primary care panel within a clinic environment.

Requirements

• Licensure / Certification / Registration: Physician MD/DO credentialed from the Wisconsin Medical Examining Board obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required. Advanced Life Support preferred. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
• Education: Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) required.

Pay

$80,000 Sign-on Bonus; $10,000 relocation assistance
