About the Role
This position is for a Physician Assistant (PA) or Nurse Practitioner with primary care experience, actively enrolled in Medicare, to provide comprehensive primary care services in a clinic setting. The clinician will serve a diverse patient population, including routine visits, gender-affirming care, substance use treatment, mental health support, physicals, and sick visits.
Responsibilities
- Deliver patient-centered care within a structured outpatient environment.
- Manage a caseload of 10-15 patients daily across all ages.
- Collaborate with a team of physicians, nurse practitioners, and behavioral health specialists.
- Utilize the EPIC EMR system for documentation.
- Prescribe medications and treatments, requiring prescriptive authority.
Requirements
- Oregon license, DEA, and BLS or ACLS certifications.
- At least 2 years of primary care experience.
- Experience with gender-affirming care and substance use disorder treatment is preferred.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Schedule
Workdays are Monday through Friday, with flexible hours between 7:30 a.m. and 6:30 p.m. No call required. On-site work in a community health setting.
COVID and flu vaccinations are preferred but not mandatory.
