Family Medicine Physician Associate - Locum Tenens

Summary Of The Role This position is for a Physician Assistant (PA) providing outpatient medication-assisted treatment (MAT) at a clinic serving adult patients. The PA will work Monday through Friday, 6:00 AM to 2:00 PM, managing a caseload of 8-15 patients daily. Responsibilities include conducting MAT intakes, adjusting medication dosages, and performing annual physicals. Medications administered include Methadone, Buprenorphine, long-acting injectable Buprenorphine (LAIB), and long-acting Naltrexone, with no X waiver required. Key Duties Deliver outpatient MAT services in a structured clinical environmentManage patient cases with prescribed medicationsPerform physical assessments and dose adjustmentsMaintain clinical protocols and documentation Qualifications & Skills Prescriptive authorityExperience with adult outpatient populationsAbility to work independently in a clinical setting Additional Information No call requirementBoard certification is negotiableOn-site clinic setting with a supportive outpatient environment
