About the Role
Seeking a Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) for a primary care clinic in a community health setting. The clinician will provide comprehensive outpatient care to patients of all ages, focusing on routine visits, gender-affirming care, substance use treatment, mental health, physicals, and sick visits.
Responsibilities
- Manage a caseload of approximately 10-15 patients daily in a structured outpatient environment.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including physicians and behavioral health specialists.
- Utilize the EPIC EMR system for patient documentation.
- Prescribe medications with authority, adhering to clinic protocols.
- Provide care aligned with primary care needs, including gender-affirming and substance use disorder treatments (preferred but not required).
Requirements
- Active Oregon license, Oregon DEA, and BLS or ACLS certification.
- At least 2 years of primary care experience.
- Experience with Medicare-enrolled clinicians preferred.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Schedule
- Day shift, Monday through Friday, typically between 7:30 a.m. and 6:30 p.m.
- No call responsibilities.
Work Environment
On-site clinic providing primary care services to all age groups.
