About the role
Ascension Saint Thomas Medical Group is seeking a Full-Time Nurse Practitioner to join our Primary Care Team in Sparta, TN.
- Join an established team of 2 physicians
- Practice setting: Rural Health Clinic in an Outpatient setting
- Access to local patients and hospital in Sparta if needed
- Employed position within a nonprofit health system
- Monday–Friday Full-Time schedule
- Taking overflow patients from the current clinic as well as establishing your own patient panel
- Preference for 3+ years of experience in Primary Care or Urgent Care

Requirements
- BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required (American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted)
- Nurse Practitioner credentialed from the Tennessee Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date
- Licensed Registered Nurse credentialed from the Tennessee Board of Nursing or current home state license for multi-state license recognition "Compact State" obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date
- Master’s degree in Nursing required
